Our President's message...

     Welcome and hello to all those interested in the land documents recording process.  Contained within the pages of this website is the information for each Michigan County Register of Deeds.  These elected professionals are entrusted with the duty to record and to secure the integrity of information relating to the properties in the great state of Michigan. In addition, the Register is charged to make these records easily accessible.  These valuable records create the history of ownership and are the evidence of debts or encumbrances on a property. 
     Although the goal for each official is identical, the means by which each office operates is discretionary and conforms to the needs as determined by the Register.  Interaction in the association, assistance in state legislation, proactive partnering with vendors, as well as a daily commitment to serving their constituents secures the lands of Michigan at the hands of these Registers.
